A Live-in Care Giver (foreign nanny) is a person who provides child care, senior support care, or care of the disabled/physically challenged without supervision in a private household where the person resides.

Once A Live-in Care Giver (foreign nanny) completes a two years of service with a Canadian Employer within a three year time frame, he/she is able to apply for permanent residence inside Canada as a part of Live-in Care Giver program.
